Groundhog Goal Rush 5v5 Indoor Festival
February 3-4, 2023
This event is not an official sanctioned tournament. Rather, it is considered a "festival" by NMYSA to keep costs low. It also means we don't give prizes for winning teams. The focus is a kid-centric fun indoor soccer experience, with excellent tournament-format competition.
On Saturday, February 4, there will be a road closure on College Blvd affecting travel between the two facilities we will be holding games. Please see map for closure and suggested detour. Due to the construction delays, please allow extra time for travel.
*Friday Feb 3, only local teams will be scheduled.
*Saturday Feb 4, all local & visiting team will be scheduled.

How are teams formed?
Players/parents should coordinate with one another to form teams prior to registering. At the time of registration, you must specify the team name, and the responsible adult/coach who will be present with the team for the entirety of the event.
If your child wants to play and doesn't have a team, you may place them on a list of interested players by using the following form:
Coaches seeking additional players will be given access to these lists and will contact you if they are able to add your child to a team. (Parents are encouraged to contact any registered soccer coaches they know, in case those coaches would like to take a team and bring their child.)
All players must be currently registered with NMYSA via an affiliate club or league.
In an effort to provide the best experience to all players, games will be scheduled in conventional group play (with each division having 1-2 groups), followed by 1 or more additional games with match-ups derived from group play.
